The fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. You can bring your own seating for the event or arrive early to sit on the bleachers in the parking lot. Note that alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not allowed at the celebration. If you bring a cooler, security will inspect it upon your arrival.

2. City of Lemoore July Fourth Celebration

During the day of July Fourth, the Lemoore Department of Parks and Recreation throws an annual celebration at a local park. The festival features all sorts of fun for kids, including inflatables, waterslides, obstacle courses and much more.

The celebration also includes a morning race for those who are interested. Sign the family up for the Firecracker 5K run or the 3K walk — or both! There’s a heat for every age group. Because this event typically wraps up in the early afternoon, it’s great to attend before going to watch an evening fireworks display.

3. City of Visalia Independence Spectacular

If you want to get celebrating early, the nearby city of Visalia hosts an annual spectacular on July 3 at the soccer fields in Riverway Sports Park. The event is complete with carnival games for the kids and a beer garden for the adults. Live music, delicious food and multiple drone light shows complete the party — be sure to bring some chairs along to ensure you have a seat!
