2010 World Series of Poker Qualifiers

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

 

 

 

When:       

Tournaments will be held the 1^st Saturday of December 2009 and January 2010 at 11:15am. We will then stage tournaments every 1^st and 3^rd Saturday of the month February through May 2010.

 

2009 Date:

December 5^th

 

2010 Dates:

January 2^nd, February 6^th & 20^th, March 6^th & 20^th, April 3^rd & 17^th, and May 1^st & 15^th.

 

 

Details:

 

$200 Buy-In + $25 Entry Fee.

 

Players must be 21 years of age by time of W.S.O.P. event in Las Vegas and posses a valid form of picture identification.

 

Sign-ups can be made for the next scheduled WSOP qualifying event any time during operational hours with the poker room supervisor on a cash basis only, excluding the day of the event. Sign-ups will close for that event at 11:00am. Late entries will not be accepted. At time of registration, you will be randomly assigned your seating designation. The tournament buy-in is non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

For each tournament event, sign-ups are limited to the first 110 paid players. Additional players that were signed up before registration close may be entered on an alternate basis for the first 1-hour of tournament (2-levels). Players entered on an alternate basis will have rounds of blinds deducted from their starting chips (a big and small blind per level begun).

 

 Players are strongly encouraged to be in their seats by 11:00am. Absent players will be blinded off. No refunds will be offered.

 

Players will begin with $15,000 in tournament chips. The blind structure is on the back of this pamphlet.

 

The Tachi Palace uses the standardized Tournament Directors Association Rules (T.D.A.) for our tournaments. These rules are available for your review.

By participating in this tournament you agree to the following:

 

1^st place winners agree to visibly wear at least one item of Palace logo merchandise or patch, provided by The Palace, at all times during their play at the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event.  Players may have their name and picture used by the Tachi Palace for commercial purposes without compensation. Entries won to 2010 W.S.O.P. and related prizes are non-transferable. Air travel and hotel accommodations will be arranged by the Tachi Palace. There will be no cash option offered in lieu of WSOP seat or if declining airfare or not taking full advantage of hotel length of stay.  Player will be responsible for any airline change fees for altered travel plans. Player is responsible for all applicable taxes.

 

Prize Structure:

1^st Place winner of tournament receives an exciting prize package that includes:

 

1.                    $10,000 entry into the 2010 WSOP Main Event.

2.                    Round-trip airfare for you and a guest from Fresno, CA. or Bakersfield, CA. to Las Vegas NV.

3.                    Standard accommodations (room & tax only) for you and your guest at the Rio all-suite Hotel and Casino for the duration of the Main Event (excluding delayed final table event).

4.                    A Tachi Palace merchandise package.

5.                    A special “Winners Send-Off Dinner” for you and your guest.

 

 

$13,500 withheld each event from total buy-ins to cover total potential cost of W.S.O.P. prize package and all related administrative costs. There will be no monies returned from this amount regardless of all variables. Remaining monies paid out each event as follows:

Must have at least 50 hours of live play in the month of September to qualify (non-bounty event).

Saturday, October 31, at 11:15am $175 buy-in + $25 entry fee with optional $5 bonus buy (no rebuys). $10,000 Chips! 30 minute rounds.

100% of all Buy-In and *Re-Buy monies returned to players via prize pool and *Bounties (*when applicable)

100% of entry fees withheld by Casino. 100% of all "Bonus Buy" monies are contributed to the Tournament Dealer tip pool.
