TACHI PALACE SUPPORTED MANY LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS IN 2014
LEMOORE, CA – Throughout the year, Tachi Palace Casino Resort donates to many charities and sponsors a number of events. The year 2014 has been especially busy, and Tachi is proud to have played a role in supporting some of the Central Valley’s most worthy causes.
An important part of Tachi’s charitable giving is the monthly community breakfast. Members of the community come together to support a non-profit organization that has been chosen for the month. The November community breakfast supported Toys for Tots. New toy donations were accepted in lieu of the standard $5 donation requested for breakfast. Cash donations from the 272 guests in attendance totaled $1,515. Tachi matches donations at the door, so a total of $3,030 was presented to Toys for Tots along with the many un-wrapped toys donated by the community. This was wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!
During 2014, Tachi Palace has made monetary contributions to Kit Carson Rodeo, Lemoore BMX, Lemoore High School, The United Cerebral Palsy, The Hanford Soroptimist, and Presents on Patrol, just to name a few.
In kind gifts were given to support the Lemoore community Thanksgiving meal, the Hanford Job Fair, Grapple for a Cure, and Breakfast with Santa in Lemoore.
Event sponsorships have included Lemoore and Hanford Sober Grad Nights, the Kings Fair, Kings County Farm Bureau, Kings Symphony, Main Street in Hanford for Thursday Night Marketplace, Lemoore Chamber of Commerce for Evening Under the Stars supporting youth events in Lemoore, and Wine, Women, and Shoes, along with many others.
