LEMOORE, CA – The most recent Tachi Palace community breakfast took place on Friday, September 30, 2016. Proceeds from this event benefited the Salvation Army of Kings County. Nearly 500 members of the community came out to support this wonderful organization. A total of $2,423 was raised at the door, which Tachi Palace was pleased to match for a grand total of $4,846. Luke Bettie, an officer with the local Salvation Army Corps, was in attendance and happy to accept a check on behalf the organization.

The Salvation Army is a non-profit Christian organization that serves communities throughout the world, including over 7,500 centers within the United States. Their mission is “to feed, to clothe, to comfort, to care” with services such as food distribution, disaster relief, rehabilitation centers, anti-human trafficking efforts, and children’s programs. The money raised at this month’s community breakfast will stay right here in the local community to assist those in need in the Central Valley.

The Tachi Palace community breakfast continues to grow each month and is open to the public. This event held on the last Friday of every month features a full breakfast buffet, informative community news and business networking, as well as raffle prizes and the opportunity to mingle with members of the local community. A $5 contribution is requested at the door which is donated to the organization chosen for the month.
