May 2017 TACHI PALACE CASINO RESORT CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT RAISES OVER $54,000 FOR VISALIA EMERGENCY AID COUNCIL
Through the combined efforts of the Tachi Palace annual charity golf tournament and its monthly community breakfast, Tachi Palace Casino Resort raised over $54,000 for Visalia Emergency Aid Council located in Visalia, CA. The check presentation ceremony took place during Tachi’s May community breakfast on Friday, May 26, where General Manager Mr. Willie Barrios was on hand to present the check in the presence of over 405 attendees.
VEAC operates the largest food pantry in Tulare County and serves over 1,100 families per month and has been serving the greater community for over 80 years. The money raised will help build a community pantry, a family resource center, and an education center at the current site in north Visalia.
Tachi Palace would like to thank all those who participated in the campaign efforts. The next Tachi Palace community breakfast will be held on Friday, June 30th, and benefit AMVETS (American Veterans). The largest and oldest veterans service organization that is open to and fights for all veterans and their families.
