March 2017 TACHI PALACE COMMUNITY BREAKFAST RAISES $20,000 FOR MARY IMMACULATE QUEEN SCHOOL
LEMOORE, CA – On Friday, March 31, 2017, Tachi Palace Casino Resort hosted its monthly community breakfast. This month’s event benefited Mary Immaculate Queen School in Lemoore, and an astounding 780 members of the community turned out to support the school and its incredible students. A total of $9,483 was raised at the door, and General Manager Willie Barrios not only matched that amount but also rounded the total donation up to a remarkable $20,000! Father Hector, the school faculty, and Mary Immaculate Queen students were all in attendance to happily accept the check on behalf of their school.
Mary Immaculate Queen School, is a Catholic non-profit educational institution that first opened its doors in 1959. It is the parochial school for St. Peter’s Parish, in the Diocese of Fresno. The school is located in Lemoore and is led by Father Hector Lopez and Principal Roxie Martin.. The next community breakfast will be held Friday, April 28th and will benefit Relay for Life. The Tachi Palace community breakfast is a monthly event which features a full breakfast buffet, informative community news and business networking, as well as raffle prizes and the opportunity to mingle with old friends and make new ones. A $5 contribution is requested at the door which is donated to the organization chosen for that month.
