July 2016 TACHI PALACE SUPPORTS VETERANS ORGANIZATION AT JULY COMMUNITY BREAKFAST
LEMOORE, CA – Tachi Palace Casino Resort hosted its monthly community breakfast on Friday, July 29th which benefited the veteran’s service organization AMVETS. Over 400 members of the community came out to show appreciation to America’s veterans through their support of this most deserving organization. A total of $2,113 was raised at the door, and Tachi Palace was delighted to match that amount for a grand total of $4,226. General Manager Willie Barrios was honored to present a donation check to Enrique Rudino who gladly accepted on behalf of AMVETS.
AMVETS is an organization focused on programs that directly assist veterans including VA claims assistance, public policy advocacy, visits to hospitalized veterans, veterans’ homes assistance, support for homeless veterans and their families, and much more. Membership includes veterans from wars of all eras who received an honorable discharge, as well as current service members, including the National Guard and Reserves.
The next Tachi Palace community breakfast will be Friday, August 26th. This event is held monthly on the last Friday of every month which features a full breakfast buffet, informative community news and business networking, as well as raffle prizes and the opportunity to mingle with members of the local community. A $5 contribution is requested at the door which is donated to the organization chosen for the month.
