January 2017 TACHI PALACE JANUARY COMMUNITY BREAKFAST BENEFITS LEMOORE VOLUNTEERS IN POLICING
LEMOORE, CA – Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino hosted the first community breakfast of 2017 on Friday, January 27, benefiting the Lemoore Volunteers in Policing. An impressive 375 community members came out to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet and support this valuable local effort. A total of $1,981 was raised at the door which Tachi Palace was pleased to match for a grand total of $3,962. General Manager Willie Barrios was on hand to present a check to representatives from Lemoore Volunteers in Policing.
Lemoore Volunteers in Policing has served the city of Lemoore for 20 years and was created to develop a strong partnership between community members and the Lemoore Police Department. The program allows trained local citizens to assist in reporting crimes and suspicious or hazardous incidents. All members are graduates of the Lemoore Citizens’ Academy. The next community breakfast will be held Friday, February 24th and will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Tachi Palace community breakfast is a monthly event featuring a full breakfast buffet, informative community news and business networking, as well as raffle prizes and the opportunity to mingle with old friends and make new ones. A $5 contribution is requested at the door which is donated to the organization chosen for that month.
