February 2017 TACHI PALACE COMMUNITY BREAKFAST SUPPORTS THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION
LEMOORE, CA – On Friday, February 24, 2017, Tachi Palace Casino Resort hosted its monthly community breakfast, benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Approximately 350 members of the community turned out to support this truly wonderful organization. A total of $1,826 was raised at the door, and General Manager Willie Barrios happily matched that amount for a total donation of $3,652. Community Director Cortney Snapp was in attendance and accepted the check on behalf of the Central California Chapter of Make-A-Wish.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has tens of thousands of volunteers across the country who work with local chapters to fulfill the wishes of kids with life-threatening medical conditions. Their work is guided by the belief that granting wishes can change the lives of the children they serve. The Central California chapter was founded in 1986 and has granted over 1,800 wishes to kids in eight local counties. The next community breakfast will be held Friday, March 31th and will benefit Mary Immaculate Queen School in Lemoore. The Tachi Palace community breakfast is a monthly event which features a full breakfast buffet, informative community news and business networking, as well as raffle prizes and the opportunity to mingle with old friends and make new ones. A $5 contribution is requested at the door which is donated to the organization chosen for that month.
