Dan R. of Visalia, CA. wins $10,000 seat into WSOP Main Event!
Tachi Palace is now halfway through our annual run of WSOP Main Event Satellites! On Saturday, February, 4th Tachi staged the 4th of 8 scheduled events. The event was again sold out at 100 players! An additional 12 alternates were seated in the first hour. The field of runners again included 2007 WSOP Champion, Jerry Yang.
Dan R. from Visalia, CA. found himself a 3-2 dog in chips when heads-up play began, but quickly doubled-up with pocket 9’s vs. pocket 5’s. The very next hand he found himself with Doyle’s infamous 10-2. Dan made a full house on the hand and the tournament was abruptly over.
Dan won a $10,000 seat into the 2012 WSOP Main Event, $2,000 for travel expenses, and $1,664 (3-way chop) in immediate cash winnings! Awesome score for a $225 buy-in!
