Tachi Palace Casino Resort Announces ‘The Official Selena Tribute Concert Series’ Tickets on Sale Now
Lemoore, CA – Tachi Palace Casino Resort is excited to host “The Official Selena Tribute Concert Series” with performances by Isabel Marie Sanchez, Pete Astudillo, Ricardo Castillon, and Califas on Sunday, April 2nd at 8:00 p.m. Doors for the show will open at 6:30 p.m. and the official Selena film car will be on display.
Tickets for the show are on sale now and can be purchased on-site at the Resort Cash Cage, Coyote Entertainment Center, Yokut Gas Station, or online at tachipalace.com. Ticket prices range from $60 to $100. Premiere Club Members will enjoy $5 off each ticket purchased when they show their rewards card for on-site purchases only.
Isabel Marie Sanchez is a 21-year-old recording artist who resides in San Antonio, Texas. She began singing at the young age of two and is proud to now be a signed artist. She has released an album with the legendary Mr. Abraham Quintanilla “Mr. Q” (Selena’s Father) at Q-Productions alongside Grammy Award-winning producers Brian “Red” Moore and Chris Dominguez. Her Debut album, New Girl in Town, included her hit songs “Fallaste Corazon,” “Pero Como Voy A Olvidar,” and “Un Beso,” all of which made the nationally renowned Syndicated Tejano Gold Countdown. Isabel broke the record in being the first and youngest artist to have not only one but three singles at the same time on the Tejano Gold Countdown Top 20.
Pete Astudillo began his musical career as a backup vocalist for Selena, as a member of Selena y Los Dinos. Astudillo sang two duets with her—1989’s “Amame, Quiereme” and 1992’s “Siempre Estoy Pensando en Ti,” both of which were nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at the Tejano Music Awards. He also co-wrote some of Selena’s number-one hits such as “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” “Amor Prohibido,” and the BMI award-winners “La Carcacha,” “Qué Creias,” and “Como la Flor.”
Ricardo Castillon is a founding member of La Diferenzia, a San Antonio, Texas-based Tejano group comprised of vocalist and Grammy nominee Ricardo Castillon, accordionist Simon Arausa, guitarist Adam Vargas, keyboardists Arnold Cardenas and Ross Villapando, bassist Mike Macias, and drummer Jose Luis Benavides. The group debuted in 1994 with a self-titled effort issued on the Arista Latin label, with their singles “Si Lo Quieres” and “Linda Chaparrita” both topping the Latin charts and the LP ultimately achieving platinum status. Most recently in 2022, Ricardo Castillon Y La Diferenzia released a new album, Esperandote, at Q-Productions.
