The Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino held the 2nd Qualifier for the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event on November 1st. On November 1st the Tachi Palace held our 2nd of 10 scheduled W.S.O.P qualifying tournaments. 139 players came ready to prove that they belonged alongside the world’s best players at the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event. After 8 hours of poker, Randall S. from Visalia, CA. took down all 1.39 million chips in play and will be the next representative of “Team Tachi” at the 2009 W.S.O.P main event. Randall will receive a prize package that will give him and a guest accommodations at The Rio for the duration of the main event, airfare for him and a guest, $2,380 in cash, and a $10,000 entry into the 2009 W.S.O.P. main event. All this for only a $200 buy-in! The next chance to qualify will be Saturday, December 6th at 12 noon |
